Leaving California after 5 months was cause for celebration!
The campground is located at Terrible's Lakeside Casino.  It is in a beautiful setting and, truly, an oasis in the desert.  In fact, we stayed here 2 years ago and enjoyed it so much we wanted to return.  Harley loved all the ducks and birds here and gave them a run for their money.
Our beautiful campground at Pahrump, NV.  This campground is consistently rated as the #2 campground in the country.
Unfortunately, about 100 miles north of Pahrump, we had a blowout on a rear inside tire.  The blown tire destroyed the storage bay behind it and did damage to the bay's frame.  Motorhomes don't come with a jack to enable you to change your own tire and most don't come with spares.  However, Bubba does have a spare tire, thank goodness.  Luckily, we also have roadside assistance so we called them and in a couple of hours, we were on our way to Pahrump again.
On to Utah!  Our next stop was in Sand Hollow State Park near St. George, UT.  Harley loved the huge jackrabbits - they were as big as he is!
As we neared Zion National Park, the terrain changed dramatically.
The many colors in the mountains were so beautiful.
Beautiful Zion National Park with Watchman towering in the background.
