We happened upon a couple of Humpback Whales that stayed with our boat for quite some time.
Nothing particular here, just beautiful scenery.
Kenai Fjords is a nesting site for the endangered Stellar Sea Lion.
These rocks rise from the water so abruptly that we were able to get within a few feet of them with the boat.
More of the hundreds of islands dotting the park.
Several of the islands are important aviary nesting grounds.
The backdrop of mountains and snow makes the park even more spectacular.
There are a number of glaciers in Kenai Park fed by the Harding Icefield.
Some of the landscape reminded me of the Napali Coast in Hawaii, except for the pockets of snow.
