One of the ways to travel the Going-To-The-Sun Road is to take a Jammers bus tour. The Jammers are refurbished red "stretched" cars from the 1920s.
The Logan Pass Visitors Center is located along the Continental Divide.  This is the highest point on the Going-To-The-Sun Road at an elevation 6,646 feet.  The pass is closed during the winter due to avalanche hazards and the virtual impossibility of keeping the Going-to-the-Sun Road open.  Logan Pass is generally open from the end of May until mid October.
Yet another one of those 200 waterfalls!
There are new vistas around every corner.
St. Mary Lake is the second largest lake in the park and is located on the east side of the Continental Divide, at an altitude of 4,484 feet.  St. Mary Lake's waters are colder and lie almost 1,500 feet higher in altitude than Lake McDonald, the largest lake in the park, which is located on the west side of the Divide.  In the middle of the lake, you can see Wild Goose Island, one of Glacier's most photographed spots.
I told a young friend once that the secret to a happy marriage is LOTS of picnics!  :-)
We had a visitor during our picnic and he was a noisy little critter.  Harley really wanted to go talk to him.
