Beautiful Chalk Creek in our campground near Nathrop.
Bubba in Chalk Lake Campground.  Would you look at the color of that sky?  Wow!
The town of Saint Elmo, one of Colorado's better-preserved "ghost" towns.  However, it's not really a ghost town as there are 8 year-round residents.
The 4-wheel-drive road over Tincup Pass (elev. 12,154) was the rockiest and bumpiest we've been over.  In fact, it was so rough that it took us an hour to go 7 miles.
But the views from the top were spectacular!
Along the way, we spotted a Yellow-Bellied Marmot, the largest of Colorado's many ground squirrels.  They can weigh up to 11 pounds - bigger than Harley!  Marmots are most often seen above the timberline where they burrow deep into the soil beneath boulders to hibernate for the winter.
Yet another great picnic site - yes, we are picnicking fools!
Our little digger - headed for China.
