Bear Glacier on the way to Hyder, AK.
This and the following three pictures are typical of the scenery on the 38 mile stretch of Highway 37A to Hyder.

Notice all of the waterfalls.
The amount of water flow is deceiving - when you get close to these waterfalls, they're much bigger.
The water from most of these waterfalls is snowmelt and is crystal clear.
We finally made it to Hyder, accessible by road only through British Columbia.  Population is less than 100 souls.
A picture of the Salmon River as it flows toward the town of Hyder.  It's principal source of water is the Salmon Glacier.
The road up to Salmon Glacier, about 20 miles northeast of Hyder, was cleared only two days before we arrived.
